Defra greener living fund

A new £6 million fund to help charitable and voluntary organisations support and develop environmental projects throughout England has been announced by Environment Secretary Hilary Benn this month. The Greener Living Fund will help voluntary organisations promote positive environmental changes to individuals and communities, helping them reduce their carbon footprints, make greener lifestyle choices and find new ways to rely less on our natural resources.

Home Action Plan - a tailormade, home energy audit currently available in Buckinghamshire, East Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes.

The Home Action Plan is a new personalised in home audit service from the Energy Saving Trust. It is designed to help homeowners take action to save energy through tailormade advice and ongoing support. It has been successfully trialled with the StewkleyGreen and Low Carbon Hook Norton community groups and is now available until the end of January to other groups in Buckinghamshire, East Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes. This service will cost £99.
