Renewable Energy in the north east
Renewable Energy - for information and advice on the measures available and appropriate for you.
Renewable energy is a growing industry in the north east - increasingly, residents of the region are exploring the opportunities available, due to their environmental concerns. Research from the Energy Saving Trust reveals 74% of people in the North East to consider turning their homes into mini power stations capable of generating their own energy.
The research, which examines consumers' attitudes towards energy efficiency and measures to help safeguard our future energy supply, reveals that 66% of people in the north east are aware of the link between their home energy use and climate change, fuelling their desire for domestic renewable energy options.
